WINE PARIS AT PARIS EXPO PORTE DE VERSAILLES

Tenuta del Buonamico is pleased to announce its participation in Wine Paris and Vinexpo Paris, which will be held from 14 to 16 February at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Paris, at the stand

N ° A 013 Hall 5

After two years of waiting caused by the pandemic, Wine Paris and Vinexpo Paris are back this year. It will be the first to take place in Paris, after the forced stop due to Covid 19, and it is one of the most awaited events of the year.

The Wine Expo was born from the merger of VinoVision (wine fair born in 2017) and Vinisud (Southern wines fair, held for the first time in 1994), thanks also to the support of thirteen wine consortia. The following year Vinexpo, the driving force behind all events related to the world of wine, decided to align the dates of its presence in Paris with those of the second edition of Wine Paris, to ensure maximum cohesion for the entire sector. Both of them aim to identify manufacturers who can show their uniqueness, whether they are small businesses or well-known brands.

In 2020 Wine Paris & Winexpo Paris was the largest International Wine & Spirits Exhibition to be held, attracting over 29,000 visitors.

The crisis due to the Coronavirus has pushed producers to reinvent themselves to adapt to new needs, and, despite the lack of face-to-face meetings with buyers, digital has been essential to keep in touch with the public. Webinars and virtual tastings have contributed to the acceleration of e-commerce, even if there is an increasing need to recover direct contact. This is why the theme of the Expo this year is “Bouncing Back”.

Paris, which has always been one of the most popular destinations for tourists from all over the world, is the perfect center for this restart, because it represents a perfect terrain for exploration, discovery and fun.

During Wine Paris, industry professionals will have the opportunity to enjoy tastings, seminars and masterclasses, which will create unique opportunities for exchanges, networking and business.

The event, which will last three days, will host not only exhibitors from every region of France, but also international producers who will come from 32 different countries, for a total of 2,800 participants.

Sèbastien Clèment, CEO of Tanium Vins et Spiritueux in Quebec, underlines how important it is not only to reconnect with producers who have already participated in past editions, but also to find new ones, and therefore to attract buyers from all over the world.

Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of Vinexposium, said: “Six weeks after the opening of the exhibition, we are putting all our energy into delivering the event that the industry is expecting.” The event will be organized in compliance with health safety regulations: Covid pass will be required, masks will have to be worn, and digital access badges will be favored, as well as an upgrade of the cleaning system.

In addition, throughout the French capital, many locals have joined the fair to offer evening events and make Paris the absolute capital of wine.

Tenuta del Buonamico will participate in Vinexpo and will be present with all its wines and sparkling wines.

The owner, Mr. Eugenio Fontana, together with his staff, will be happy to present the products of the Estate, which will surely be distinguished by their excellence.

“It is very important to participate in this event” says Mr. Fontana “because it is the first international fair to be held after a long time. The French government has decided to confirm it to give a signal to restart, and the Estate wants to take part in this restart, to make an effective contribution. The whole world held out, and now it’s time to look to the future with optimism ”
